Michaela & Stuart’s wedding

Michaela and Stuart had planned their wedding to be a day to remember .

Not a formal wedding that most people would expect, but a day full of fun and surprises , a day none of their guests would forget.

I met Stuart, his best man and ushers at Bannatynes Spa Hotel Hastings, and from the first picture I knew this wedding was going to different!

Then to Michaela and Stuart’s beautiful ultra-modern  home which Stuart had built in Hastings to take some shots of the bride getting ready.

Michaela wanted nine of her thirteen bridesmaids to pose in her VW Beetle before they all boarded a London bus to transport  everyone to the church.

None of the congregation  knew that Stuart had, with the vicars blessing, choreographed a ruse and when Michaela had not arrived at the prescribed wedding time, Stuart his best man and the vicar left the church looking distressed .

Minutes later the vicar returned walking slowly down the isle, but on arriving at the alter gave a high jump and side kick, at which time the music started and through the door of the Church came the ushers, bridesmaids and best man dancing down the aisle, closely followed by Stuart.

Following the church ceremony we returned to Bannatynes Hotel for some lovely  casual pictures in the hotels grounds, a great meal, speeches and dancing into the night – certainly a wedding to remember!
